APPLE ROSES


You don't need to be a pastry chef to bake this deliciously tempting rose-shaped dessert. It tastes just like apple pie. And it looks a lot like a beautiful red rose. Made with naturally sweet apple slices, sprinkled with cinnamon and rolled up in a perfectly crispy puff pastry.

PREP: 20 minutes
BAKE: 45 minutes
SERVES: 6

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 package Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet), thawed
  • 2 red apple (I used Red Delicious- Manuela)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (from 1/2 lemon)
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, to sprinkle the counter
  • 3 tablespoons apricot preserves or ground cinnamon
